Movie City
program: two movie studios, offices for post production, exhibition center for movies and moviemaking, 3d theatre
scenario : the proposal combines two specific chinese objects - the bridge and the toy- this way the building becomes an element of infrastructure for the park and a panoramic place

idea 01.1 pimp my crane
This is an example of a PIMPED 100 t crane.
Obiectele din balciuri numite “atractii” sunt in realitate obiecte importate din lumea industriala (macarale , poduri rulante , lifturi ) ce sufera un process de “pimp-uire”.
Acesta este un exemplu de pimp-uire al unei macarale de 100 de tone
ordinary crane...
...a new arm instead of counterweights...
...panoramic cabins for passengers...
...cusotmizing the crane with the national flags...
...traditional chinese lanterns and fireworks for a complete experience

International design ideas competition for Liantang / Heung Yuen Wei Boundary Control Point Passenger Terminal Building
Every border crossing is accompanied by stress, restlessness and agitation (airport,customs, etc.)
Crossing the bridge between the two countries would probably represent the stress peak
scenario:
using an item from a brand new world (the world of the fair, amusement park, etc.) for crossing the border could radically change the experience from a stressful one in a nice / unusual one
the installation will move 250 persons in one minute making it more eficent than a simple bridge
when the border is not crowded special features will be activated as multiple spins , etc
